Custom Tour Itineraries

Custom Tour Itineraries

There are dozens of temples in Siem Reap. Most of your temple trips depend on how much time you have and your level of interest, although some temples are a small to see. Any trip should include the temples of Angkor Wat and the giants of Bayon, both of which provide the greatest and most unique examples of Angkorian art and architecture. On the way to Bayon you will also see the south gate of Angkor Thom City and some small temples. As it is within walking distance of Bayon, most of the trails can easily combine the center of Angkor Thom with its impressive terraces and the magnificent Phnom Baphuon and Phimanaka temples. Due to the fire situation, it is best to visit Angkor Wat in the afternoon, so most trips start in the morning with Angkor Thom City.
According to your schedule, please build the rest of your tour around visiting each of the major temples, such as Phnom Prek, Takeo, Bakong (one of the temples in the Rolous group) and the Western Mebon. Flats around large pagodas such as Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei, Preah Khan and Ta Som, and unique monuments such as Neak Poan and Srah Srong. The Rolous group, which includes the monument of the ancient Khmer capital, is located 12 km west of Siem Reap outside the main temple. It's a little different, but gives some good examples of early Angkorian art and should be included in two or more processes. More than two days. What is special is the luxurious Banteay Srei temple, but farther away. During the trip to Banteay Srei, you will also find the temple of Banteay Samre is always calm and peaceful. Other interesting temples outside the main temple are Beng Mealea, located about 70 km from Angkor Wat, mostly unprotected by trees and thick bushes growing in the middle of towers and courtyards and rocks. Many of them lie in large piles, the bridgeheads are more. More than 50 km from Angkor is not a temple, but a river bed covered with Siva bas-reliefs, a symbol of the supreme Shiva (the head of the bridge is about 45 minutes adventure through the forest up the mountain). Most importantly, the site that marks the birth of the Angkorian civilization has a large view of the waterfall, the Buddha statues and the river bed covered with bronze carvings, the symbol of the highest Shiva, Koh Ker Group, located about 150 km from Angkor in  Preah Vihear was once the ancient capital of Cambodia (AD 928-942). If there is a way to squeeze it into your trip, it's great!
